Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Receives President and Members of Bahrain’s Association for Religious Tolerance and Coexistence “Ta’ayush”

H.E Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, received Mr. Yousif Mohammed Bouzaboon, President of the Bahrain Association for Religious Tolerance and Coexistence (Ta’ayush), along with several members of the association’s board of directors. During the meeting, they presented the minister with a copy of the book “In the Hospitality of the King of Peace”, which documents the noble efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in promoting the principles of tolerance, dialogue, and interfaith coexistence.

During the meeting, the Minister affirmed that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Kingdom of Bahrain has established a pioneering global model of coexistence and harmony. This has been achieved through the promotion of mutual respect, the dissemination of a culture of peace, and the encouragement of dialogue among various religions and cultures— demonstrating the Kingdom’s dedication to cultural refinement and human dignity.

H.E also praised the role of the “Ta’ayush” Association in supporting and reinforcing the values of religious tolerance and coexistence within society. He commended the publication of the book, which highlights Bahrain’s position on the international stage as a beacon of tolerance, peace, and cultural and religious diversity.

The meeting also included discussions on several topics and a review of the association’s key programs and initiatives aimed at fostering understanding and closeness among different religions and cultures, thereby contributing to national efforts to strengthen social cohesion.
