“Municipalities Affairs” Organizes Workshop to Discuss Contractual and Technical Matters Relating to Afforestation Strategy Tender

The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture organized a workshop to discuss contractual and technical matters related to the afforestation strategy tender in the presence of the Acting Undersecretary for Municipalities Affairs, Director General of the Capital Secretariat, Engineer Mohamed Saad Al Sehli, along with the Assistant Undersecretaries, and several officials and engineers tasked with the implementation of the afforestation strategy.

The workshop aimed to introduce the new tender that is set to include all governorates in Bahrain and the goal to plant about 50,000 trees, in addition to irrigation and maintenance of planted trees as per the national afforestation strategy and in line with the implementation of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment at the COP26 climate change conference.
