The Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Discusses Joint Cooperation With French Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty

HE Eng.Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, met with the French Minister of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, HE Mr. Marc Fesneau during the Minister’s participation in the 91st Annual General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates of the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) which is currently being held in the french capital, Paris. Among the attendance, HE the Undersecretary of Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth Dr. Khaled Ahmed Hassan, HE the Chief Executive Officer of the Horse Welfare Authority Mr. Yousef Ahmed Al-Issa and Director of Animal Health Dr. Fajer Al-Saloum, along with several officials of the French Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty.

During the meeting, the two parties reviewed bilateral relations and the various ways to enhance cooperation and achieve mutual benefit between the two countries especially in matters relating to agricultural exchange and animal wealth development.

Cooperation efforts to improve agricultural products and areas of veterinary and plant control were discussed including the opportunities to train personnel and encourage the exchange of experiences and best practices.
