Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Holds Internal Audit Workshop

A workshop titled “The Preparation of Internal Auditors” was organized by the Training and Development section in collaboration with the Planning and Municipal Council Affairs Directorate. The workshop targeted members of the Ministry’s internal ISO audit team, in preparation for audits scheduled to be conducted in the upcoming period.

Ms. Amal Mohamed Alkooheji, Chief of Strategic Planning and Project Management section provided an introductory overview of the workshop and its target to prepare internal auditors. She also discussed the stages of the internal audit process.

The workshop conducted training exercises and simulations related to internal auditing, it also covered types of meetings required during the audit process all of which contribute to the enhancement of effective auditing practices and develop key skills necessary for successful audits.
