Ministry of Municipalities Affairs Organizes Training Session on Retirement and Promotions Law

The Ministry’s Training and Development Section, in collaboration with the Civil Service Bureau held a training session titled "Promotion and Retirement Laws and Regulations and Related Procedures". The session, which was held in the Ministry’s building in Diplomatic Area was attended by several employees involved in human resources management from both the ministry and their municipalities counterparts.

The course aimed to cover the latest updates issued by the Civil Service Bureau in relation to retirement and promotions regulations.

The session touched on laws and regulations of civil service which are applicable in the public sector work system, the promotion system including the rules, standards, and conditions for promotion, retirement law, retirement benefits, employee rights and duties, discipline and job performance, retirement rights and contributions, as well as types of incentives and benefits.

This session was a part of a training plan put in place for ministry employees, aiming to develop employee skills and performance and enhance their professional capabilities.
