This service aims to enable applicants of non-commercial camping permits during the desert season in the Southern Governorate to pay the site-cleanliness security deposit electronically. This is in accordance with Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Resolution No. (152) of 2025 regarding the determination of security deposit amounts for non-commercial camping sites.
The security deposit will be refunded after the camp is removed at the end of the current camping season (from 5 December 2025 to 25 March 2026) and upon verifying that the site has been cleaned according to the procedures approved by the municipality and the Southern Governorate.

 

Note: Paying the security deposit does not constitute a permit. You must visit the Southern Governorate to complete the issuance of the official camping permit after paying the deposit.

1. Access the service and enable payment
After the payment button is activated on the camping request page, click the “Pay” button to proceed to the electronic payment system.
Note: The security deposit is 100 BHD and can be paid through the municipal e-payment system or via the “Sadad” service.
2. Select the NPA payment option
When the payment page appears, select NPA Payment as indicated in the instructions.
3. Choose the Southern Municipality
From the list of municipalities, select Southern Municipality, then click Search to display the pending invoices linked to your application.
4. Select the invoice and complete the payment
Choose the invoice you want to pay, then click “Pay” to finalize the transaction.
5. Verify the payment receipts
After completing the payment, you can review all receipts in the “My Receipts” section of the system to keep a copy for your records.

Service fee
There are no additional service fees for non-commercial camping. Only a refundable security deposit of 100 Bahraini Dinars is collected for each camping site. This amount is returned after the camp is removed and the site is cleaned in accordance with the approved requirements.
Terms and Conditions
1. The security deposit of 100 Bahraini Dinars must be paid electronically before completing the procedures for obtaining the final permit.

2. The campsite must be removed and the site fully cleaned at the end of the camping season to ensure a refund of the security deposit.

3. Renting out the site or using it for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. The permit is limited to personal or family use only.

4. Campers must adhere to the designated camping areas approved by the Southern Governorate and may not change the campsite location without official approval.

5. All safety and environmental regulations must be followed, including avoiding damage to the environment or public property.

6. In the event of violations, damages, or leftover waste, the municipality has the right to withhold part or all the security deposit in accordance with the applicable regulations.

7. Campers must comply with the official camping season period (from 5 December 2025 to 25 March 2026) and may not remain at the site outside this period.

8. The municipality or the Southern Governorate reserves the right to suspend or cancel the permit if any of the stated conditions are violated.

9. Paying the security deposit does not constitute a permit. You must visit the Southern Governorate to complete the issuance of the official camping permit after paying the deposit.
